The Plum Crazy Purple paint is not only legendary, but it is also seriously popular. This popularity has led Dodge to keep its availability pretty limited since it made its return to the lineup. We were expecting this hue to end production in December 2015, but today, the automaker has announced that the color will hang around through January.

The extension applies to only the Charger and Challenger models. On the Challenger, buyers can snatch up this iconic hue on the SXT Plus, R/T, R/T Plus, R/T Shaker. R/T Shaker Plus, R/T Scat Pack, 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and the Hellcat. As for the Charger, buyers can opt for Plum Crazy Purple on the SXT with 20-inch wheels, R/T, R/T Road & Track, R/T Scat Pack, SRT 392, and the SRT Hellcat.

Speaking of the Hellcat, Dodge has also announced that it will fit the 707-horsepower siblings with a new set of racing stripes. These dual stripes will run from the nose to the tail of the muscle cars and will feature a carbon-fiber pattern. These stripes will run an extra $995 on the models' base MSRPs.
